Last year at Convention Stampin'Up! announced the release of their wonderful new Digital Software that uses the same great artwork, colours, and accessory images found in our current product line to create personalized projects.
The projects you can make with MDS are endless: create assorted photo albums, calendars, and greeting cards, personalized gifts or heirlooms, and then have it printed in our high-quality print facility and delivered to your door.
Now I have to be honest, I was amongst the first to purchase this cool new software, but it has been a WHOLE YEAR and another Convention has passed and I have yet to complete a project! I'm ashamed! How can I preach to my Dolls about using the products they use and not use it myself!
So, when I came home this year from Convention, it was with a renewed sense of determination to get started on my first MDS project!
Since I will be attending Founders Circle again in September, I was thinking about how nice it would be to take a Scrapbook from last year to share with my fellow achievers!

Hello Dolls!
I am so incredibly sorry for leaving you all hanging these last few days. The pace we kept at Convention this year would make most of you want to cry! If we got 4-5 hours of sleep each night we were lucky! When paired with excitement, emotion and travel you end up with............ A WICKED COLD! So that's where I am today, in bed, forced to sit still, long enough to write a post! lol
So, let's backtrack to Thursday July 22nd! which was Awards Night in Salt Lake City! What a wonderful time we all had, and I was honored to be Demonstrator of the Year #13! I am very proud of myself and all my hard work this year, but I already have my sights set higher for next year! lol Here are some pictures of this great evening!

For any Demonstrators out there, I'm sure you know Dina! She is the most FAMOUS Canadian Demonstrator! For those non Demo's out there, Dina is from Toronto, Ontario and I met her last year at Leadership in Phoenix!

I'm sure I don't need to introduce Shelli to most of you, but just in case, above is the Amazing, Gracious, Talented, Kind, BEAUTIFUL Shelli Gardner! Shelli is the founder and CEO of Stampin'Up!
Here are my beautiful Prairie Paper Dolls! From left to right - Cheryl Hirst, Leanne Stitko, Charlene Penny, Lindsay Longley, Fran Koop, Myself and Alanna Wharf. We are missing poor Jamie Friesen, who was not feeling well and had already headed for bed!
Friday July 23rd was my 30th birthday! GROSS! LOL but we had a really great day of classes, swaps, make and takes and I even treated myself to a massage! When the sessions were over for the day, the girls took me out for a wonderful dinner! It was a great way to spend my birthday!
Saturday was the last day of Convention. We had another great day of General Session, Classes, Swaps and visiting with Friends.
It seems to be getting harder and harder to say Good Bye to my friends until we meet again either at Founder's Circle in September, Leadership in January or perhaps even until Convention in SLC next year!
On Saturday night after we packed all our goodies up, we had some time to look at some Swaps we collected during the week! Here are a few sneak peeks of some of the beautiful cards which I will have on display at my open house in August!
This first card is from the "Vintage/Distressed" swap I was in. It features Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla and Encore Gold Ink. Stencils are my newest favorite and this is just one way that they can be used!
This next card features the Fancy Flower, En Francais and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set. The Colors are Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Pretty in Pink!
This next card features one of our newest Embossing Folders to be used with the Big Shot. The Stamp Set used here is from the Perfect Punches set.
This last card is probably the most simple and is one of my favorites. The Butterfly on the card has been die cut with the Big Shot and then Stamped with our Elements of Style Stamp Set.

I am thrilled to let you all know that I found out today that I have qualified again this year for the prestigious Founders Circle Trip put on by Stampin'Up! Awards night is tomorrow when I will find out how I placed! It is going to be so much fun and I will be sure to post pictures on Friday!
Today was busy busy busy! We started our day at 6:30 am and didn't stop for even a second until now! We are so pooped and I am having a tough time keeping my eyes open to even write this post!

This is the Founders Circle Bag for this year. We don't find out if we have qualified for the trip until we check in at the Awards Booth -- it's absolute TORTURE! I was crying before I even hit the front of the line and then the ladies took great pleasure in drawing out the process as long as possible!
After check in and Momento Mall we attended the "CSI NY Swap". We made some really fun projects (7 in total). Here is what they looked like!
This evening we attended a "Flower Power" themed party at the Convention Center. Some of the costumes were out of this world! On our way in, Jamie met her "HERO" Dawn Olchefsky. It was priceless. I believed she referred to her as her own personal "Michael Jackson!"
Tomorrow is a big day for us, so we're off to bed, but I will leave you with a few inspirational projects from today!

We arrived in Salt Lake City this morning at 9 am. After being up for more than 24 hours, we headed to the mall for some lunch and some shopping and then we came back to the hotel for a nap!
The Convention starts tomorrow morning at 8 am, so in the meantime I have been catching up with old friends and comparing cards! Here are some pictures of some of the swaps that I made, with a little help from my friends (Thanks MOM!)
This first card is one that we did at my Christmas in July Stamp a Stack last Sunday. It is a quick and easy but super cute card that uses limited supplies!
The card features two of our new colors (Cherry Cobbler and Pear Pizazz) as well as our new Designer Series Paper: Jolly Holiday!
The circles are our 1 3/8", 1 1/4", and 1" circles punches as well as the "Four the Holidays" stamp set -- but my absolute FAVORITE feature on this card are our new basic rhinestone Jewels. You get 50 each of 3 sizes for only $6.50!
This next card is for our Masculine swap and features Early Espresso, Garden Green, More Mustard and Not Quite Navy card stock and the Extreme Elements, Hope Happens and Extreme Dirt Bike Stamp Sets!
This next one was a DOOZY to make! It is a Wiper Card which I had to make 120 of for our "WOW" swap! I'm proud of it, but it was so much work!
This card features my NEWEST AND FAVORITEST toy....Stencils! This particular stencil is one of a set of three and is called the "Elegant Trio" set. It can be found in our Decor Element Brochure (click here to download the newest catalogue!)

Swaps are done (well, almost), bags are packed, and we are sitting in the Grand Forks airport waiting to board the plane that will take us, once again, to Salt Lake City!
Convention check in is on Wednesday and we will get to check out Momento Mall where they will have all sorts of new, cool stuff for us lucky demonstrators to buy!
I will be sure to post pictures of all my swaps before I trade them all and I will try to post a little each day and let you all know what's going on down in UTAH!

So now that Stamp Clubs have taken a break over the summer, I will be offering some individual classes in the months of July and August to peak new interest for clubs in September! I am so in love with this new 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog, and I cannot wait to share all kinds of new projects with you. My class schedule will be updated with all of the most current activities for July and August, but I thought I would also give some brief descriptions of what is to come!
JULY 9TH STAMP-A-STACKThis Stamp-a-Stack is a repeat of my June 13th SAS. We will be making the same cards (10 cards - 2 each of 5 designs). This class was so popular that I have added this second installment due to overwhelming requests to do so. The fee for this class is $50 and includes both the XL Fancy Flower Punch as well as the XL 2-Step Bird Punch as well as your 10 cards. Afternoon Dolls!
I have been feeling horribly guilty that I haven't been posting projects lately! Between finishing up the SU! year and all the paper work that comes with that and all the craziness that has been going on here at home, I just haven't had time to sit down and work on anything new!
So, I thought, I would share with you what I have actually been doing! Maybe it will give you your chuckle for the day!
For those of you who don't know, I live in a new development, which means, no landscaping! We put off the "grass" investment last year, but were forced to get going this year! So, two weekends ago, my husband Corey and I took on the backbreaking job of moving 25 yards of soil and then we seeded! But I guess it paid off cause we are already starting to see some grass!
The following weekend, our first exchange student Na-Hee went home. It was sad, but she will be back in September for another school year, so we didn't shed any tears! We're saving them up! lol
We have also been in the process of finishing our basement to turn it into my beautiful new Stampin' Spot! So I spent two full days this week priming all the new drywall! BORING! lol
In between all that, I've been busy playing soccer, watching My Dad and Corey's Dad turn the BIG 6-0! and trying to keep the house in some kind of order!
So yesterday I finally sat down to PLAY! I had grand ideas of all that I was going to accomplish! RIGHT! I spent the first four hours SHOPPING for all the new toys I want out of the new catalog! Then my parents came into town for pizza!
In the meantime, we have had this bird's nest above our door for awhile now and they keep pooping on my step! GROSS! So yesterday we knocked the nest down, not realizing that there were babies in there. So of course I went into maternal instinct mode! I made them up a Stampin'Up! box with left over pieces of sod and stuck them back up on the roof for their Mama to find them.
So now look who's lurking at the window.......
You should have seen him licking his chops, it was horrible. Needless to say we've locked him out of the room! lol
Anyway, I WILL craft tonight....I WILL! lol We'll see!
Tomorrow Pauline's parents will be arriving from Germany and on Sunday she will be going home! Corey's Dad also official turns 60 today, so there will be a get together for that as well!
I promise to hop back on the Crafting Train ASAP and show you guys some nice new stuff! In the meantime, here is some information on the new Color Renovation Kits that are now available!

Well, another successful Stampin'Up! year has officially come to a close and I owe all my Dolls a very sincere heartfelt thanks!
